I wasn't aware that there were different names for elk in different countries, because, living in Northen Canada, wildlife is no rarity. I see deer and elk all the time.

Wonderful shot. Love the framing. Excellent job!

Sorry to say this but that is not an elk, that is a deer.

But the picture was nice anyways. :)
